Together with experiencing the Broadway Pop-Up Museum, on Saturday 29th August at 12:30pm you can enjoy an exclusive history presentation by cinema historians and founders of the Scottish Cinemas website, Gordon Barr and Gary Painter! Gordon and Gary discovered and donated the Broadway's own incredible heritage collection of letters and documents in 2005, and for the first time they will take visitors on a journey across Scotland's exotic cinema building history underneath the camels of the Broadway's original auditorium!
Camels, Elephants, Monkeys, and Prancing Deer! The wonderfully evocative golden age of cinema will be brought back to life in the best preserved Art Deco cinema in Scotland. The doors to the Pop-Up Museum will open at 10:00am, and we encourage arriving by approximately 12:15pm to take your seats and get comfortable for the presentation to start at 12:30pm.
