The Terminal (2004) (35mm) (12A)

We're delighted to announce the second of our four September screenings is The Terminal, a delightful comedy starring Tom Hanks as an Eastern European tourist who becomes hopelessly stranded at JFK airport, with the feature presented in glorious 35mm film as a part of the first analogue film programme in the Broadway since 1976! Please note that the Broadway will likely be cold due to falling temperatures, so we highly recommend wrapping up warm!

This film has been chosen by the Ayr Academy branch of the Broadway Youth Film Society, and the screening will be co-hosted by the society members and our own Broadway volunteers. The screening will provide an excellent introduction to 35mm film for the students, as the feature will include reel changes during intermissions, where we will also encourage all who attend to watch the projection team in action!

All of our September screenings have been funded…
