The only Scottish cinema to host a cinema organ is now the only Scottish cinema to host two.

We're absolutely delighted to announce the arrival of a Compton cinema organ, loaned to the Broadway by a member of the project and cinema organ expert Ian Macnaught, and we're equally delighted to announce it plays!
Originally a Compton Melotone, the organ has been digitally remastered to play without the pipes. An excellent MIDI system generates an authentic 'tower ballroom' sound, and this flexibility ensures the Broadway can now play host to organ performances. The vision for the Compton is to support the full restoration and installation of the Broadway Wurlitzer, and we're pleased to report the launch of the Broadway Wurlitzer Appeal to achieve this!
You can donate now to the Broadway Wurlitzer Appeal on our website now by clicking the link below, and all proceeds from future performances on the Compton will go directly to this appeal. One organ will help the other! And besides, why have one when you can have two?
You can see both the Compton and the Wurlitzer on display at the Broadway Cinema Experience from tomorrow, as we open our doors once more this Saturday and Sunday morning! You can book tickets on the website now, or arrive between 10am and 1pm to visit the Pop-Up Museum. If you can't make it have no fear, future visits to the museum are also available to purchase now from June to December. Stay tuned for more news on our cinema organs, with exciting announcements just around the corner.
We can't wait to hear that iconic sound echo across the Broadway's auditorium for the first time!
