October marks the start of spooky season, the global phenomenon that brings fancy dress parties, extravagantly scary costumes and autumnal activities such as pumpkin carving and ghost stories. This seasonal holiday marks the change in the weather, darker evenings and gold coated leaf's that make runways of our streets. But what was Halloween like in the 1930s.
