It's time to come home.
The Broadway Cinema Preview featuring the Broadway Pop-up Museum is here, and you can book now to step into the Broadway's original auditorium, revealed for the first time in almost 50 years!
Experience the Broadway Pop-up Museum and take an immersive journey through the Broadway's history, engage with volunteers at the workshop and projection island, and enjoy the magic of film returned to your cinema with short film clips on the Broadway's big screen. The Pop-up Museum has been entirely built by volunteers, and showcases the Broadway’s extensive heritage collection in the Broadway for the first time.
A milestone half a century in the making.
You can click below to book for our opening weekend of 29th and 30th November, with five 1-hour time slots available on each day, with a restricted capacity of 15 tickets per slot so we expect to sell out fast!
We recommend arriving up to 10 minutes before your allocated arrival time, and wrapping up warm to combat the cold! Please note that access is currently restricted to exclude children under the age of 12, and any children between the ages of 12 and 17 must be accompanied by an adult aged 18 or over. Note too that the Broadway does not yet have toilet facilities, or an accessible lift or ramp for the foyer steps. However, these additions are well on their way for 2026!
The Broadway Cinema Preview has been funded with support from South Ayrshire Council, NATS, and Bòrd na Gàidhlig, with the Pop-up Museum featuring Gaelic throughout, creating one of Scotland’s only museum spaces to feature fully bilingual signage!
